flame is an acrylic glass extension to the r0ket conference badge.
The flame is a simple PCB with a PCA9533 I2C controller driving one LED to enlighten a laser engraved acrylic glass in the shape of a flame. The flame was arranged as a DIY soldering kit with the option to choose between twenty different engraved logos and four LED colors.
I am happy that this project was successful as this was my debut in manufacturing PCBs, working with laser cutters and compiling foolproof soldering kits. A lot of lessons learned.
